don't dare
« on: December 08, 2014, 08:11:24 am »
are there things you wouldn't dare do because you know someone would be mad?
maybe you have a friend or know someone who takes the train with you to work or you meet people in the mall cafeteria who are there every day.
You know these people sit in the same seat every day all the time. If you dare to take their seat, they would be mad.

People fighting in line to get their presents is another situation that gets out of hand. It doesn't have to be that way.
We can take one dare.....dare to be kind to someone else.

I agree! We are suppose to be children at heart NOT act like children such as our behavior and mannerism. It's very sad how this world is falling a part before our very eyes. Everyone needs to wake up and see that we need to LOVE ourselves and one another again! We need to be UNITED as one!

I try not to upset anybody, even though the same seat doesn't have their name on it or assigned to them, but they sit there everyday. I'd for sure leave it for that person!

I totally agree.  Humans are actually wired to be cooperative, yet we wind up competing over everything.

I do genealogy and with more records becoming available and DNA testing we're connecting to more people than ever and are rapidly proving that we're all related.

A PBS program on the Buddha has a woman who points out that we should see Buddha in everyone, treat everyone as if they were Buddha.

Christ has a similar teaching:  "As ye do to the least your brothers so ye do unto me."

Commit random acts of kindness.

That's almost like it is in our church!  Regular church members have a tendency to sit in the same pew every week.  Some seem to get their feathers a little ruffled if a visitor should sit in their spot.  I'm all for sharing my pew or even my dedicated spot if someone is there to worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
Have a wonderful day!

Can't say I've ever encountered this type of problem but, then again, today I suppose it would be a more usual happening sadly!!!
