I wouldn't care. It's the thought that counts.

A gift is a gift, you can find some really clever gifts at the dollar or 99 Cent store.   I find a lot of stocking stuffers there.

I would if I knew that person has the money to actually afford at least $5.00. If I know that person can't afford anything I would be grateful that they thought of me.

It doesn't matter to me where's the gift bought. What's matter to me he/she took time to get me something.

I got a few people a little Christmas metal box from the Dollar Tree & rolled up a coordinating pair of warm, fuzzy socks.  Also nail polish, hand lotion, and some candy.  It made a cute gift for $5.  I also got alot of neat stocking stuffers there.  It wouldn't bother me to get a gift from there, it's the thought that counts.

I wouldn't care. It is the thought that counts. Sometimes you can find some pretty good stuff. I got the cutest scarf from Family Dollar the other day. I wished there had been more than one b/c I wanted to buy a second one for my friend at work.

If they are buying it from the Dollar Store then you probably know what their financial situation is then, but if they can afford a better gift because they actually have a good financial situation, just assume it is a joke gift or stocking stuffer. :silly:  Also everything at the Dollar Store is NOT a dollar or less 8) :peace:

If it was a gift that thought had been put into I wouldn't care where it came from.

i really could care less if they bought me a gift from the dollar store.  it is the thought that matter after all and just because it came from a dollar store doesnt mean that its not any good.

If it's all you can afford then it shouldn't matter.
