We still decorate but only light it for a few hours a night.  We're expecting a spike in hydrop prices as it is, I don't need any more!

I think they increase your bill for Dec. whether you decorate or not!

We always decorate every year and I never notice too much of a difference in our electricity bill. But, this year will be the first year that we will not put up too much outside our house. The most we will do is wrap lights around our lamp post near the driveway and put a wreathe with lights on the door.

Some years.  I read on a box of lights that it adds 30 bucks to your electric bill..to run them 4 hours a night for a month..so I don't run them all month  just some of the time.

One time we had a lot of Christmas lights all over our house and yes we noticed a difference of our electric bill. That's why this year we tried to minimize our lights and turn them off by midnight. Except of course when its really close to christmas we let them on overnight.

Due to the cold winter weather, the electric bill is going to go up for sure.

I'm not decorating this year so the electric bill won't be any different.
