Chemo on Christmas Eve
« on: December 22, 2014, 07:23:08 am »
My chemo days are Wednesday, which falls on Christmas Eve day and New Year Eve's day.  I know I need it, but what a way to celebrate Christmas Eve!

So sorry to hear that Nancy and I will be continuing to pray for you - and I hope you will do the same for me.  I get the results of a stomach and pelvic CT scan tomorrow and I really am praying for a good report.

It's ok, Nancy5.  What better day than Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve for God to be closest to you?  Keep your thoughts positive.

Ask God to wrap his arms around you in Christmas Eve and may the one you have New Years Eve be one of the best. Prayers go out to you.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.  I have stage 3 cancer, and am trying to be upbeat, but as you know stage 3 is not a very good stage to be at.  I pray they can help me and get this terrible disease completely out of me.  The chemo is getting harder and harder every week (side effects), but I will continue and do what my doctors say.  Thank you again for the kind words and caring, you are the best!

My chemo is scheduled for noon.  It's a 2 1/2 hour drip, so I should be done by 2:30.  I should feel ok Wednesday night, but I hate the fact I will feel like crap on Christmas.  Sick to my stomach and very very tired/sleepy.

Aww, i'm so sorry, but you have to do what is best for your health. I know it's hard sometimes, but you just have to do what you have to do to get better.
