I am already thinking of my New Years resolution, I am going to try to go on a serious healthy lifestyle change. Anyone else?

I will just quit eating so much, just like every year.

I've been eating a lot these past few days, well a lot of stuffing & cheesecake, stuff I don't usually eat.
I'm starting today resuming how I normally eat, which is pretty healthy.  I'm about to take a jog, I'll get on the scale New Years & hopefully it won't have moved up any.  :)

Good luck on your New Year's Resolution, if you stick with it, this same time next year you'll be in a wonderful position with maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I'm one of the lucky people who doesn't have to worry about it.  I can eat whatever I want, whenever I want and boy, do I, LOL!

not necessarily a diet were both pretty fit but were going to be eating better just for health wise, like brown rice instead of white, whole wheat bread not white bread, instead of cookies, we will do whole wheat chocolate chip mini muffins in the cookie jar, just that kind of stuff :)

It will be mid-year for me before I start on my "resolution".  I'm currently pregnant and of course I have to wait until baby is born before I can start on my diet to lose the weight and get in shape.  However, I have already decided what I'm going to do.  Shakeology and I'm going to try some at home workouts, P90 and maaaybe Insanity.

Every year I say to myself," I am going to start my diet this year". It never happened. Finally, I decide to take this seriously because of health reason.

I am thinking about it in the most sobering way possible.  I have always been able to eat whatever I wanted, as I was tall and skinny.  Now that I'm reaching 22 and am pretty much done growing, it is catching up to me big time :(.  Needless to say I will be taking runs, cutting down the beer, and cutting down the sugar!  But not until the holidays are over!

Dieting is kind of a New Year's resolution every year, but do I follow up?  Hardly sometimes.  I need to find a new tactic to get more motivated, but at least my weight is otherwise consistent.  I need to surround myself with people who have more healthier eating habits.

I never have "dieting" on my list of goals for the year.  It's too easy to get fail at such a goal.  Instead, most of what I eat is healthy - I've never been one for junk food.  My issue is more due to lack of exercise than food I'm eating.  So instead I have more fitness goals - or learning a new activity that will get me moving (like maybe I'll try parkour this year...).  If the activity is fun, one is more likely to stick with it and will yield the same results.

Also, I find when I'm very active, my eating habits change naturally to support the activity.

I've already done a reset: I got a Fitbit for my birthday and began to use it last night.  Need to take more walks on my breaks.

If you want to make a change to your diet to lose weight or get healthy, don't wait until January 1 to start! Just start now. There's no need to wait until a set date if you want to make a change

Yes, I usually steer clear of the "diet" new year's resolution but I have a serious weight issue that I am having no luck addressing and with my health issues have come to the conclusion I am going to have to do two things I struggle with - counting calories and getting more exercise despite my chronic pain issues.  Good luck with your endeavors.
