When you're not sure what to give someone, a gift card, or cash with a card, can never be bad gifts.

Hard question to answer because older women are for the most part like younger women - unique and distinctive in their likes and personalities............so safe bet is like others said - gift cards are always a good choice.  Do you know anything about this woman?   :present:

If you know them well, a collection of skin products - high end is great but only if they won't take offense.  Sometimes older women are reluctant to buy the latest fashions (me!) so new clothes are welcome.

Depending on your relationship with this person, I know that people getting on in years tend to want material things less and personal things more. Thus something that will help them cherish the memories they've had, like a personalized calendar (with your own pictures for each month).

The best gift you can give someone is a card, because a card says it all.

If I were getting an older woman a gift, the first place I would go is a christian book store. Chances are she probably needs a bible cover or there may be a certain christian program she likes and you could get her a book or cd/dvd of that person. Christian book stores also have plaques and other things that people could use. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with that store.

Some old women are very hard to please, and it is always tough to find a good gift for them.

Best advice, any time you bug a present for someone, get them something they can use (on a daily basis) to make their life easier.

it depends on what she is interested in.  you can just base a gift off the general idea that she is old.  if she is really in to chocolates get an expensive box of chocolates, if she loves to read find out her favorite author and get her a books she doesnt have.  the best gifts are those that are personal to the person that they are meant for.
