Since we don't go to the movies, I will wait until it comes out on dvd and rent it. But it is a movie I would like too see. Or I may just buy it. Depends on my mood.

It looks gritty and good. I'll probably watch it when it comes out on DVD.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I remember when I first saw the trailer. The youtube comments were filled with people talking about how it left out "American", making it "most lethal sniper in history", and how that was misleading as Simo Häyhä actually holds the record for most confirmed kills (505 in 100 days to Chris Kyle's 255).
Also some comments about his death. But that probably isn't in the movie, since it happened after he left the military.

His death is in the movie, it is based on a real person.  The story is real.  From everything I have heard it is an excellent movie, but I will probably wait until I can watch it at home.

Watched it yesterday.  It was pretty good, but my friend didn't realized it was based on a real person :o

I do romances and American Sniper doesn't sound like it's a romance... too much killing for me...

The promos look good.  May watch it when it comes out on cable.  Will see how the ratings go until then.

I saw a preview for this for the first time the other day and it looked really good. I'll check it out when it comes out on Redbox.

I saw it the opening weekend.  It makes you very thankful that war has not taken place on American soil for many years, that our veterans have often put their lives and families on the line, and that extremists will do anything to make their point.  The effects of PTSD are somewhat indirectly explored in the film.  It made me thoughtful, but as usual with war stories based on a real person or situation, not particularly hopeful that mankind will ever be at peace.

Have not seen the movie yet. I have seen a lot negative comments on the web about the movie. I will judge for myself once I see the movie.

I think it was a little preemptive to put out the movie before the trial even began.  I guess alot of folks think real live is a movie and give little thought to the feelings and situation of the people the movie is based on.  It is a real hard movie to watch I think because of the moral dilemas.
