I usually don't eat breakfast (bad, I know. I'm working on it) but if I have bananas handy they'll do.

I make a morning shake with four frozen peaches, four strawberries, six dark cherries, half of a banana, a spoonful of frozen orange concentrate, a scoop of flavorless protein powder (with the equivalent of twenty grams of protein), three ice cubes and a cup of milk.  Sometimes I'll add a teaspoon of creatine if I am working out on a consistent basis. I also have a hard boiled egg (five more grams of protein) and a cup of Deathwish coffee (which has two hundred percent of the normal caffeine that a normal cup of coffee has).  This is generally thrown together after a briskly paced one mile walk with my two Golden Retrievers and before I make lunches for the family.

One of the  foods i know about is oatmeal. What energy food do you eat in the morning?
V8 energy drinks.  50 calories, nutritious with a kick of caffeine. I can't go a day without them.

I love Kellogg's Special K cereal with Cinnamon and Pecans and Orange Juice to drink.  This gives me a quick boost.  ;)

I am an oatmeal fan.  Peanut butter on toast is also good.

I have a choice of granola bars, or other type of bar or pop tarts (store brand). It's fast and easy.

I do usually have oatmeal for breakfast. Another great option would be to have eggs except for those that suffer from high cholesterol. A better option for them would be egg whites. Granola and yogurt is a great option, or fruit and yogurt. Of course I love all of these breakfast sandwiches from fast food chains however they are usually high in calories.

For something quick if I'm on the go, I would get something like a granola, breakfast or protein bar to snack on. If I'm willing to spend extra, I would pick up a muffin, scone or something else to take with me. If I had a little more time and thought of this beforehand, I would make my own protein shake to take with me. Cold cereal is also generally quick, but something I would have to devote myself to eating at home then.

coffee, I sometimes don't get around to eating until the afternoon, then it's something quick and easy to clean up like toast or cereal.
