A friend told me that she would like to watch movies and doesn't have the time. She has other things she is doing that fill up the days and she would never be able to fit it time for a movie.

Everything, LOL! I have a ton of half finished Photoshop projects, plus several articles that I want to write for Hubpages. Not to mention a lot of craft projects.

I have given up any time to rest and relax, I am constantly on the go. With that being said I am doing everything I want to so I have no regrets.

I use to love doing craft projects and would really like to do something now. But I have two sons and they take up much of my time. I recall feeling that everything was right with the world when I was creating something, fixing something or planning what I was going to do next. I find it very therapeutic.

There are so many things I'd like to do that there is just no time in the day to get at all of them.  I have a list of movies I'd like to watch, books to read, try my hand at building bookshelves/cabinets - custom, not pre-made assembly, learn some new languages, teach myself to program Python for my Raspberry Pi media streamer configuration, teach myself to program Android Apps, travel to Europe and Australia, ... the list goes on...

I thought we'd have plenty of time to do whatever we wanted to once we retired.  Wrong!!  If not running the grandkids here and there, or keeping one of them all day (sometimes all week) theres zillions of other things we have to tend to.  I'm trying to clear out my in-laws house so one of our daughters can move in the end of February and that is taking so much time.  They had lived in this house since the early 60's and they didn't believe in throwing anything away.  Its so sad to have to be going thru their stuff but it has to be done.

I would certainly love to pull out one of my old school video game consoles (i.e., Nintendo and Super Nintendo) and play a few games one day. Oh, how I miss the days when I didn't have a care in the world. :-(

I would like to get through more books.  Currently I'm reading a book about he six wives of Henry VIII and I'm still on wife no. 2.  It's slow going.

Yes, I listen to my audio books every night... and that's wonderful, but I read books every day too...

Be patient.  As you grow older you find yourself with more time.  I now have time, but not the energy for some of the things I wanted to do when I was younger
