Juicing
« on: January 19, 2015, 04:26:24 am »
Yesterday I combinef blue berries, apple, celery & flaxseed, but i did not care for it,  the celery was
over powering. I usually make that same juice, but without the celery.

Have you made any juice lately,if so what kind?

I tried juicing broccoli and carrots, with an apple. It was ok, but not something I would want to drink very much of, or very often.
I saved the part that's left after the juice is extracted, and added it in when I made a pot of soup.
It tasted better in the soup. :)

I do juice my own vegetables and fruit more often now - at least once a week and I've been integrating beets in almost every of these arrangements. They're nice and sweet and compliment so many fruit.

I haven't juiced in a year myself. One of my favorites though are berries and kale. I used a bag of those frozen berries, they have strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Put in about a cup of those, some water, and almost  a handful of kale. Tastes really good, don't taste the kale at all.

Every morning I make my berry juice. I combine all kind of berries and blend them together. I also add one banana and some honey. That stuff tastes good!!

I've never done juicing before. I wanna try making green juice though with a nutribullet

NO. I don't have a blender anymore. I don't think I am going to invest in a juicer either. They are way too expensive. If I want my juice I will just buy it. Seems like such a waste of fiber to juice. I love to eat fruit anyway. BMaston12

I usually use mixed berries, flax seed, spinach and pineapple. I've never tried celery. A friend also told me to try avacado.
