cutie pies
« on: January 21, 2015, 03:56:02 pm »
I was reading the Oprah magazine and saw a recipe for cutie pies.
They are one bite pies on a stick.
They are appropriately named because when I saw them, I thought to myself "how cute."
 Remember lollipops?
I don't know if lollipops are still around these days.

They sound intriguing... I'm going to have to run an internet search now to check them out.  :)

I did a search and came up with the term "Pie Pops", which makes sense considering cake pops. Anyways, they do look fun, but probably not for me. I have enough trouble keeping filling in my turnovers to try such tiny things. :P Maybe in the future, if I get better at cooking.

That sounds fun for parties.  Many display / centerpiece ideas are now flooding my head.  Maybe someday I'll try them on a potluck or...  ;)

Sounds interesting, so I would need to look up. Of course, unlike many others, I never jumped on the bandwagon too much on the presentment part of food as others. I did by a pastry in the shape of an animal once overseas, but otherwise I'm usually not target cutesy items by default.

This is the first I've heard of Cutie Pies.  This has peeked my interest, I must do some research on Cutie Pies.  Sounds like something I would love to make.   :)
