Jamming today

I decided to check out my supply of jams and jellies today and found that I am getting kind of low on some varieties so I am off to dig out some fruit from the freezer.  We freeze our berries and some fruit from our garden.  I think red raspberry (I am down to one jar) and black raspberry (one left of this as well) are the favorites so this is probably what I will do.  Need to replenish the strawberry and grape as well but think I only have enough supplies on hand to do two batches. Of course then I will have to make biscuits or bread because if you make it you have to taste it, right?

Its hard stocking up on that kind of stuff it usually expires before i can get to eating it and then it is just a waste of money and time.

i like home jam and jellies, but have had to buy store this year as I ran out and the harvest around here was not good. Had a late freeze and go everything. Oh well made this year. We really don't eat a lot of it any more. There is just the two of us now. and we do not need a lot of it anymore.
