I always wondered when you had to pay taxes on the money you make on FC. Now this answers my question. If you make a big chunk of cash (like $500 or more)they'll send you a form in the mail with the amount, then you must claim on your taxes. File it under other income. Thank you for this info. Now everyone knows!!!!!

As much as I would like to make that amount of money on here, I certainly do NOT want to pay any more money to the government than I have to. FusionCash represents a convenient form of alternate income for me (which I need to pay various bills and tuition).

I am hoping to not have to pay taxes on the money earned from here. I feel that is a better idea and I would make more money that way. Do you guys feel the same?

You're suppose to report any income you make anyway regardless of the source.  The site just isn't required to send you any forms unless it's over $600.

:) In all honesty, I would rather have to pay taxes than be in a position where I had no taxes. In other words, I enjoying working and making money. :)

It is earnings over $600 that require a 1099. Congrats to all of you that have made that much on FC!

Hello. So you earn that well on the internet that you have to pay more on  taxes? Wow! That's great! I do earn online just not as much as you. I do see some online work that you have to pay taxes. For example kindle self publishing. I just did my taxes on Sunday that just passed. I was a bit nervous. Because I was not earning as well last year because of loss of jobs. I was also nervous about paying a penalty for not having health insurance. I'm glad everything turn out okay. Happy tax season everyone.

That's great for people making over $600 on this site. While it sucks that the income earned has to be claimed for tax purposes, it's also a great feeling knowing that you are making money through legitimate means. I haven't made nearly enough in a year's worth but I did ask my accountant if I needed to claim this income. He said it wasn't worth it since it was so small.
