being alone is the woods sounds like a scary ordeal, is hermits normal, doesn't a person have to be a little off to be content with that life?

I don't mind having a country home, but being a hermit, locked away from society is not one of my fantasies.

The more I am around people and society the more I don't want to be around people.  People are mean and rude and flat out crazy.

I wouldn't need to go to the woods and be a hermit. I would be happy to shut the doors in my house and be a hermit.

all the time, I'm a loner anyways so whats the difference, although it might be a little dangerous, I think I'll stick to apartments ..... alone

I think about it sometimes.
I remember the times I did go camping.....
When I think I need something and really don't "have" to have it.
There are some pretty cool camping items available.
One fellow started a company that has "prepackaged food" that you just pour water on. There is a "hot pack" in there to make it hot.

Heck, NO!!!  I have an anxiety attack when my power is off more than several hours.  I LOVE me my modern conveniences and wouldn't make it long in a survival situation.  And if the world was in bad enough shape, wouldn't want to!!!!
