daylight savings time
« on: March 04, 2015, 09:05:01 am »
I was reading that Russia has done away with daylight savings time.
I sure hope America "follows suit".
There has been so much discussion about it for years!

Why would we do that?  Can you explain why you would want to do away with daylight savings time.

The majority of people want to do away with it.  Leave it the same way all the time and stop all this madness with changing it for a few months to something different.  I hate when they change the time and it gets dark by 5pm.

it was an advantage for farmers a while ago, I'm not sure if they're still affected by the time change anymore

I wish we never had to change our clocks either. Longer days I prefer for sure.
