Sometimes the constant facebook updates can become too much. At least that's the case with me. I haven't been on in a month myself, just needed a break. I found myself checking it constantly to keep up with everyone. I keep though because without it I wouldn't really know what anyone was up to since they're out of state. It has it's pros and cons.

I'm not very social on Facebook; however, I like to connect with friends and family members.  I don't treat it like a dating website, like some people do, and I don't accept "friend requests" from people I don't know.

Different people use the site for different reasons.  It seems like you need to clarify, for yourself, why you're using it.

Have a great day!

I feel the same way you do. I used to go on Facebook a lot but now I go on only about once a day at most. The comments sections are usually filled with meaningless positive remarks that are a waste of time to read. But sometimes there is something genuinely interesting posted that you would want to share with your friends, so I don't go off it entirely. Just quickly check it once a day.

I have been on Facebook for a lot of years.  I have a home business, so I am on the site everyday and keeping up with family, that is the only reason I am on it and only for a short time daily.

I used to be on facebook for few years then I quit, I deleted my profile. Its too much of invading privacy.

I think facebook can be a good place to hear about things in current events that you wouldn't normally hear on the many media stations because they are bias so for that, I think it's worth it.

I enjoy visiting and seeing friends and family on face book. I have a great, great nephew in Alaska and his mother is always putting a picture up for the family and then I have a great granddaughter somewhere in co. and her grandmother posts pictures when she has some. A lot of what I do on fb is read about what is happening in the town I lived in and surrounding areas.  some classmates are putting put it together and all visit back and forth.

I enjoy keeping up with my old school friends and new friends that I have met on Facebook.  Most importantly, I enjoy playing games on Facebook.
