sometimes you can find a restaurant that has a menu with good old fashioned home cooking.

We have a few like that in the smaller towns around where we live.  Good food and low prices, you can't beat that!

We have a couple like that around my town too. But if I want home cooking I just cook at home. Normally have something different if I go to a restaurant.

Yeah, I usually go out to eat because I know I'm going to get something I wouldn't normally have at home. I like trying different foods.

I cook at home almost all of the time, so when we go out I want something I do not cook at home. Or sometimes I feel like I have done enough and it is time for the cook to take a break. My neighbor and I have a couple of plates that we pass back and forth with something different on it. We like trying each others desserts the best.  We do it about once or twice a month. We have done it so long we have forgot who the plates belong too. Nice to have  great neighbors.

We have some here where I live. For Easter this year I am not cooking my son and I are hoping that one will be open that day so we can enjoy. :)
