I never thought about flyers that is an awsome way to get the word out I know there is still so many people that could use the extra cash.

Here is the thing with flyers.  Say I put up a flyer at Walmart on the board outside the entrance doors.  It has the link that includes my info that would give me credit for a referral....Most people are not going to type all that non-sense in.  I wouldn't.  I would go to FC website and just join on my own if I wanted to join the site.

That's exactly why I have my own website. I don't even mention the word Fusioncash on anything I hand out, I just send them to my website where I can tell my story and THEN have a link they can click to sign up. If you are not confident they are sold enough or are afraid they will try to remove your referral part, shorten the url so they don't even know where it leads until they get there.

It sounds like you have already convinced yourself it can't be done, but that guy that had thousands of people reading his newsletter started with just ONE and learned how to cultivate the list to get people excited to read it each time. No, that doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen for those who keep trying until they learn what to do.

The bottom line is, you can make excuses, or you can make money, but it's nearly impossible to do both.

You can say it over and over but it does not make it so.  I know what has been with me.  It is not as simple as just saying oh I want this and then it will happen.  You make it sound like it is as simple as setting up a website and then you will make all kinds of money.  I at times make a decent amount but it is a lot of work.  It is not easy.  And it takes more than 15 minutes a day (like some people claim).    You are convinced that anybody who can't make a living making money online isjust not trying.  That is not true.

A couple years ago I clicked a link that led to a site where these two guys promise to show me how to make millions online.  I can make thousands of dollars a day in as little as 20 minutes a day by putting links on other people's website.  Enter your info to get the CD sent to you in the mail.  I did this.  Then they want me to pay them to tell me how to actually do it.  Yeah it's a scam and they make money when people pay them for useless info.  I do realze people make money online.  You make a ton off of referrals.  But not everyone will be able to do that.  And it doesn't mean they are not trying or they have a negative attitude that causes them to fail.  Just sayin.

I never said anything about making a living from it, but a few extra bucks to enhance anyone's lifestyle is simple.

No, it's not simple.  But "a few extra bucks" yeah that is not all that hard.  Somehow I think we have been talking about 2 different things here. lol

If its one thing I have learned its not to expect thousands a month but coffee or gas money make a big difference in the long run. I drive a Prius so its only 30 dollars to fill the tank. With this site I can  do 20 - 30 per a month.

I get what you are saying.  I have never referred anyone to this particular site.  I have to other sites and like I said before either the person does not join thru my referral (just joins on their own) or they do not do anything.  I have referred my cousin to several sites and she will join but then doesn't do anything.  And I don't have a blog, which is what a lot of people say is the way to go, and even if I tried to start one you have to get people to read it.  I did try to do one a few years ago but the people I told about it either didn't bother going to the site the first time or if they did were not interested and just clicked off and didn't come back.

I completely understand where you're coming from. Telling someone to get referrals when they have never done such a thing is kinda setting them up for a lot of frustration.

Let me tell you this...

Most of my referrals don't cash out. The ones who have cashed out only do so once or twice. I really don't worry about what people do or don't do. As long as people have verified their email after signing up, I get my $1 per referral at the very least.

I know human behavior and people either get sidetracked or bored with the whole survey thing. Some people just don't see themselves making any significant money - and so they give up. And that's ok.

It appears that you have a vested interest in people doing something once they sign up. You really have to let that go.

The people in my family who I have referred to this, despite they say they want money, never even bothered signing up. I 100% don't care. I'm not attached to my referrals or those I recommend this site who never sign up.

I refer people and move on.

Now, I would get higher conversion of people cashing out if I kept in communication with my referrals via sending them emails and encouraging them to return to FC and do surveys, etc... But I don't.

If you want more people to do more surveys so they can cash out and/or cash out more often you may want to consider emailing them. This is a bit tricky because it does require you to get their permission to email them.

This is probably more than you're willing to do at this time, but it's something to consider down the line.

If you want to get referrals, you will have to learn lead generation. You don't need a website to get referrals. It helps, but it's not necessary.

Great reply crisstar and it's true that having a website is not required to get referrals, but it's the best advertising you can buy for less than $2 a month and have complete freedom to put anything you want on there, without the restrictions some website owners decide to add. For example, I can't count the number of Blogger blogs I have seen terminated for posting referral links. Don't forget, you can promote anything else in addition to Fusioncash there and even get paid for sharing why you use your particular hosting service, instead of it adding to your expenses.

Okay, so how do you do this?  That is where I run into problems.  No one will TELL ME how or what to do.  I have designed a couple of websites.  I am familiar with Front Page (which I realize a lot of people hate) and HTML.  I am not stupid by far.  But I do not know who to get my own site with no restrictions and certainly have no idea how to go about getting companies to pay me to promote their name.  You have to go thru someone or some company or something to have the space in the big www and then you have to somehow get people to your site.   And word of mouth won't get it.

Here's how to get referral without a website:

* Post flyers on corkboards in your community. Laundromats are great places. I get $10 Staples rewards coupons every so often and I use that to purchase colored paper (great for flyers because they stand out). Get an easy to remember domain from Go Daddy (or another provider).

* Make videos regarding how great FC is and your results, the benefits to people looking for a side income etc... You can put these videos on YouTube. In the description and on the video it self, you can put your FC link. You can post a link to these videos from your social networks and from your blog.

* Go to social networking sites like Google+ and Facebook and post helpful posts about FC in your profile and in communities and put a link to FC.  You don't want to be spammy. Give good advice and be helpful. You'll need to make "friends" and network with people of course.

Website Required...

The best website is simply a blog. I recommend you get hosting (as low as $5-$10/mo) and put up a Wordpress blog. This will take you only a couple of minutes. A blog is easy to update and you can post things about making money with surveys, your life and how surveys give you extra money to buy your kids clothing etc... You see where I'm going.

To get eyeballs on your blog, you can link from your social networks to your blog, comment on other money-making mom blogs, work from home blogs, etc. Just type into google whatever search phrase you want - and most of the sites that usually come up are blogs. Just comment on the post  with useful comment and add your website in the website section.

Now after saying all this, you can make enough to pay bills - if that's what you want to do. Of course if you can get a lot of referrals you can make thousands per month - but that's not typical and most people just make bill money doing surveys.

If you want to make enough money to buy a new home and get a complete lifestyle change, then you'll need to look at a home business. A business does require money to spent at some point, however, there are a lot of businesses you can start for little to nothing. Doing affiliate marketing  is probably the easiest thing to do to get into business. You can learn affiliate marketing really easy. The challenging parts is knowing how to get enough traffic to your offer. I don't want to turn this into a home business post, but just give you other options if surveys are not producing enough income for you.

There's a lot to "chew" on here, but I suggest picking one direction or one way of getting referrals and take action daily to get referrals. Make it a daily habit and you will see results. Don't worry about what your referrals do or don't do. Let it go.

I hope this helps somewhat Countrygirl...

crisstar- I don't recon you have to have permission from someone to email them.  I think you may have misunderstood.  What I was saying is when you have referrals you usually get money each time the referrals cash out.  If you refer people and they don't do anything then they are basically worthless.  I don't care enough to email anyone.  I have one site that I referred my cousin to and I think I got 10% of what she cashed out at.  I have texted her several times but she is not interested.    And that's fine.  I was just saying that getting referrals is not that easy and getting referrals that are active is even harder.

I don't have the social networking sites.  I may try the godaddy website thing.  Yes your post helps and has some good ideas.  I am not home right now so I will look into it more later.  I tried to do a blog before but I could not get anybody to look at it.  I told a few family members and a couple of friends but nobody even looked at it (I can see how many people hit the page).   :(

But like I said I don't have a facebook with a ton of friends.

Click on the my account tab and I think it is over to the left at the top you click "cash out".  You have to have set up your method of payment.  You can do paypal or direct deposit to your bank account.  It tells you how to set up both.  Paypal accounts have to be verified.  As well as your bank account.
