Awful Customer service and denied cashout - beware!
« on: April 15, 2015, 07:14:11 pm »
Have been a member here for quite some time but have never cashed out before.

Lately thanks to some advertising I have been doing for referrals I have racked up $700.

During my first attempt to cashout I was denied and was asked to provide some proof of my identity which I did so (sent in my driver's license).

I then get another message saying they need a court document for my name change. During my initial registration I clicked on the wrong auto-fill details and selected an alias (someone who does not even exist) that I will use on forums as such to keep my identity a secret. Once I realized my mistake (browing the "My Account" section) I changed everything to my real information. Now because I made this mistake I am permanently denied my cashouts from my account (now totalling over $700) because I provided false information at the time of registration.

Not only is this rule absolutely ridiculous as it was a simple one click mistake - but because of it I was also prevented from creating a new account as it would now be my same address, computer and IP address.

Furthermore my account was "under investigation" and put on hold at one point and during all of this verification of my account's standing did nobody bother to tell me that cashing out would ultimately be impossible.

Take this as a strong warning to anyone who may have made a mistake during registration and has not yet cashed out - DON'T BOTHER! From the sounds of it even a 1 letter difference in name or address is grounds for their permanent denial.

To go along with this, there is no phone number or direct email to contact - only tickets which can be opened where they take 1-2 weeks to reply with 1 line answers followed by their closing of the ticket and the inability to re-open it for more information.

Be warned of this situation for anyone who is new and has not yet cashed out yet. I have filed my complaint with the BBB already and am currently waiting a response.

As for FusionCash staff - this post is in no way against any rules and should not be removed.

I'm finding it strange that you have $700 in your account from referrals. How long ago did you sign up for FC?

to be honest you should have fixed the problem BEFORE you made any money on your FC account, as it stands right now you have been using the site under false information (which is strictly banned by the TOS that you clicked and agreed to).  I also feel that the BBB isnt going to lift a finger to help you as you HAVE waited so long and contined to use the site under the false information you provided at sign up

There is one in every crowd, but it hardly constitutes any solid evidence against Fusioncash and their policy. I sure have never had any problems getting paid.

While I'm sorry you must be very disappointed, unfortunately you didn't read the Terms of Service. Right up at the top it states:
Quote
"Users must provide valid and truthful information during all stages of membership at FusionCash. This clause applies to every form of interaction with a FusionCash representative, FusionCash's web properties, and FusionCash's affiliated advertisers and partners, including, but not limited to: personal information, location, support tickets, third-party signup information, and cashouts."

Also:
Quote
"A user's account may be disqualified and his or her earnings forfeit in, but not limited to, the following cases: He/she violates any of the terms set forth in these Terms of Service"

Finally, you can't use an alias on any type of GPT site. While many people have screennames they use to protect their privacy, everyone gives valid identification at registration.

That's not just  a rule of FusionCash, that's a legal requirement at any type of site where money is involved.

I use a screename for forums and such, but at all of my GPT sites (FusionCash, Swagbucks, MTurk, etc) they have my real identity in my account info.

You have only been on Fusion Cash a few months, if that, and this post is your first and only post. I am sorry to have to say this but it sounds like you tried to cheat and now, you are badmouthing FC because you did not get away with it.

I have been with FC for years and love the site. I find the site very legit and trustworthy.

I don't know many legal businesses that would just give someone such a large amount of money without proof of real identity. I had to prove my identity when I earned over $600 in a year so I know if you tried to get that much in one payment they need to make sure it's going to a real individual and not a scam artist.

You didn't just make a one letter mistake. They'll let you change small things like that without a court order. You provided completely false information

I did change my information to my real info prior to making any money when I noticed the mistake. I could not create a new account as it would have the same address and IP connection (another of their rules). As for the ID I did send in my photo ID of my real information which I had changed it to. I was in no way trying to scam or fraud the system it was just a simple mistake.

Yes it was all from referrals. I run a few blogs and have posted in some other forums as well stating that it was a great site. Since this mishap I have had to change my stance on posts and give it a negative review rather than positive. And they have already stated that I will never get my money - so excuse me for not being calm or relaxed.

You have only been on Fusion Cash a few months, if that, and this post is your first and only post. I am sorry to have to say this but it sounds like you tried to cheat and now, you are badmouthing FC because you did not get away with it.

I've been on FusionCash for nearly a year. In no way was I trying to cheat or fraud anybody but I made a simple mistake during the registration process which I promptly fixed as soon as I noticed the issue. As for my first forum post - yes it is as I did not frequent the forum for the forum bonus. I am not "Badmouthing FC" this is merely a warning for anyone who may have made a similar mistake.

While I'm sorry you must be very disappointed, unfortunately you didn't read the Terms of Service. Right up at the top it states:

In no way did I intentionally try and use this Alias - it is never used for GPT sites and only used to sign up for forums outside GPT and survey sites anonymously who have no business knowing my real identity.

I did fix the issue before I made any money but did not realized that me doing so I would be disqualified down the road. Technically I had not made much money (maybe $5.00) prior to noticing that the information was clicked wrong. It is not that I made all my money AND THEN changed the info since I knew I would need to verify it.

Wow! Thanks for posting so others can learn from your honest mistake. FC is no joke and very strict when it comes to their member/account rules. They just want it to be fair across the board for every one. No one is singling you out, I am sure something similar has happened before but never voiced. I am sorry you are going through this and wish we had a solution for you but unfortunately FusionCash cannot take any chances and must be very careful according to their terms & condition/policies. Hope you will stay and fix this with FC admins.

I wish I had read this before signing up. I cashed out back in February and just recieved a message yesterday stating that I have to fax my DL to them to prove who I am. That I can deal with but, what gets to me is this. I lost about $20 due to the 90 day expiration date on rewards. I understand that they have their rules for reasons but, why penalize me and take money out of my account? I cashed out February 12th so they had ample time to send me a quick email asking for that fax. Instead they waited almost two months and then took my money.  :sad1:

It's actually 180 days.  Your money wouldn't have expired while it was still in a pending state which it should've been if they were waiting to process the payment.

Would love nothing more than to stay here at FusionCash and find a way to fix this with the admins but from my support ticket response there is absolutely zero they are willing to do for me since I signed up with a false name. Regardless of the fact that I changed it once I noticed (at this point earned barely anything) and regardless of the fact I sent in Photo ID proving I am who I say I am.

Was your cashout in "pending status" if so the money will be held until you provide the necessary info.

If you have any luck getting your money or find some other sort of customer service number please let me know.

I understand what you're saying that it was an honest mistake, and you didn't intentionally try to give them a false identity. I'm so sorry we don't have an answer for you.

Like Kimber said, this site is very strict when it comes to the rules. FC needs to be very careful, because there are so many regulations when it comes to financial transactions and identity, both from PayPal and from the government. If they had their PayPal account restricted or their business account frozen, which I've seen happen to other GPT sites who were less careful, it could devastate their business.

Of course none of that helps you and your situation at all. :( Again I'm so sorry and wish we had an answer for you.
