In no way did I intentionally try and use this Alias - it is never used for GPT sites and only used to sign up for forums outside GPT and survey sites anonymously who have no business knowing my real identity.

I understand what you're saying that it was an honest mistake, and you didn't intentionally try to give them a false identity. I'm so sorry we don't have an answer for you.

Like Kimber said, this site is very strict when it comes to the rules. FC needs to be very careful, because there are so many regulations when it comes to financial transactions and identity, both from PayPal and from the government. If they had their PayPal account restricted or their business account frozen, which I've seen happen to other GPT sites who were less careful, it could devastate their business.

Of course none of that helps you and your situation at all. :( Again I'm so sorry and wish we had an answer for you.

I appreciate it but seems the only answer I have been given or will be given is basically "tough luck - goodbye money" as no moderators or supervisors seem to care.

Thanks :( Really just waiting for BBB now - FusionCash has no interest in helping me apparently.

This just seems like one of those unfortunate freak things that happens sometimes. I don't think either side is trying to put something shady over.

I've always said the support at FC is rather lacking,so I can understand the frustration. They really need to do better in that area.

Ive been paid on time - EVERY time.
Rules are in place to protect all the members from fraud.
Sorry this happened to you but this doesn't sound like FC fault to me.

Have been a member here for quite some time but have never cashed out before.

Date Registered:

So you have been here for a year+ and are now just trying to fix this issue...I would say this is why nobody is really all that sympatheic to your case.

I clicked on the wrong auto-fill details

As far as that goes...there should not be ANY auto-fill on the registration pages for just that sort of reason

Just trying to cash out for the first time so yes just trying to "fix" this now.

My name/info was changed around a year ago when I noticed it and started to earn.

And yes - in hindsight now it would be nice for auto-fill not to be present on form pages but sadly nothing I can do now.

Ive been paid on time - EVERY time.

Sorry this happened to you but this doesn't sound like FC fault to me.

In no way am I blaming FusionCash but I was simply asking them to understand my side of the situation. It was not my fault - did not do it on purpose and changed the info as soon as I noticed. Now my earnings + residual earnings from my 400+ referrals has gone to waste and can never be cashed out.

This just seems like one of those unfortunate freak things that happens sometimes. I don't think either side is trying to put something shady over.

I've always said the support at FC is rather lacking,so I can understand the frustration. They really need to do better in that area.

Thanks for your input :(

I am sorry that this happened to you. but FC is doing there part for avoiding fradulent earnings. I never had issues, I have got all my cashouts so far. I am actually lost track here because of my time crunch and am back to earn some extra cash here now.

Im sorry this happened to you, I have noticed that this site is definitely stricter then most ofther GPT sites, and do have less staff then other GPT sites, I cant say I have ever seen a mod on the forums.

I would continue to send them a ticket till you get something straightened out, you do seem like a very nice person, who made a mistake. You speak very eloquent, keeping your wits, others would be swearing and acting like a child if this happened to them.

Best of luck!

Thanks so much for your kind words but sadly they have stated my money will never be released which I find extremely unreasonable in all honesty.

I have tried to call their number on several occasions but nobody is on the other end of the line ever. Sent in around 4 tickets already and they just get closed off with something along the lines of "We already told you - a rule was broken so funds won't be released"

Unfortunately, FC has no way of knowing whether someone who breaks the rules is doing it on purpose for fraud, or through an honest mistake. They have rules in place for a reason, and it's up to the person signing up to make sure they are following these rules from the start.

I wish I had read this before signing up. I cashed out back in February and just recieved a message yesterday stating that I have to fax my DL to them to prove who I am. That I can deal with but, what gets to me is this. I lost about $20 due to the 90 day expiration date on rewards. I understand that they have their rules for reasons but, why penalize me and take money out of my account? I cashed out February 12th so they had ample time to send me a quick email asking for that fax. Instead they waited almost two months and then took my money.  :sad1:
If you have credits from a cashout that was denied for ID request, and they expire before you've provided ID -- don't worry -- they will be restored to your account upon cashout re-approval, assuming your ID passes verification.  That is standard policy and in fact the system does it automatically.  It would be unfair to penalize you in that way.

Now... to the original poster...

This is the bottom line.  It's actually illegal to enter into a contract under a false name, which is what you did.  Even if it was not "intentional", we have to assume that you did the same with our advertisers.  Lying to us is bad enough, but lying to the ones who keep the lights on is really not OK.  Also, our records indicate that you used the false name for an extended period of time, not that you changed it immediately; nor did you contact us when you did change your name.  These are some of the reasons why we were unable to issue payment for your cashout request.  The Terms of Service is a contract, as legally enforceable as a paper-and-pen one, and you violated several provisions of it.  The consequences were and are exactly as described in the Terms of Service.

I'm sorry that you had this experience, but we absolutely have to maintain the validity of our members' data and the data they submit to our advertisers.  To do otherwise is to risk disaster.  It's not on a whim.

If the main issue was regarding that you are afraid I entered false information with any advertisers that is simply a non-issue. All of my credits which are current are ALL from referral credits. There is no risk at all that I had clicked the wrong auto-fill details on an advertising offer (which I deleted after this incident anyways). I did not change it immediately or so that I did so - I said I changed it immediately after I noticed it (whether it was a month after registration or not) and if you look at any money that was made prior to that it has to have been under $10 and has since expired anyways so that is simply a non-issue in my opinion. As for contacting you in regards to my name change I figured it was a non-issue since a name change was so simple to do online. I hardly doubt you get many users who are actually legally changing their name which is the reason that they are changing it on FusionCash.

As for the TOS - I agree with you in the sense it is a legal document - had it been a pen-and-paper one there would never have been a misclick issue obviously and it was not done in any way to be negative or fraudulent.

I just find the fact that you are simply denying me my money over this one simple mistake a bit outrageous. The BBB has been contacted regarding this matter and I surely do hope they have something more to say.

I understand you have your rules in place to protect you but in no way was my mistake harming anyone as I did not sign up with advertisers, had no money made by the time of the name change, and have been open and honest as to the reason and sent in my legitimate documentation to prove my identity to you.
