I would love to buy a lot more organic then I can. But we do not have much of a choice in our small town.  Have to watch and read on everything.  But when summer comes and the farmers market is open I buy a lot and I also grow some too. Then I can if at all possible . I know where it came from. We have a distribution center here and sometimes they will have more organic and then I stock up. But it is hit and miss there.

I wish there were more organic stores around me...I'm getting into feeding my body with actual fuel (good food) not junk anymore!  You feel a lot more positive that way I find, one thing everybody should consider is a huge cut-down on the sugary drinks.  If you get used to water all or most the time that is an easy way to stay healthier! :)

Unfortunately it tends to be more costly to produce organic foods so they end up costing more. And they're trendy now so stores tack on a little extra to the price for that alone.

If you have any local farmers markets, they're a great resource! In a lot of cases, you're actually meeting the families behind the farm and they don't up-charge as much as the stores for fresh fruits and veggies.

You've also got the brand shop with organic foods sometimes-- some brands are typically less expensive than others, so it just requires a little research!

Not really, though the closest grocery store to me sells more organic products so if I have a bit of extra grocery money for the week I may buy a few fruits.

I don't go out of my way to get organic foods, but if the organic choices in the grocery store or Walmart are not much more expensive than the regular stuff, I'll choose organic.

Sometimes because its too costly.

If you get a chance, do try them out.  Its a very interesting store. Their prices on condiments, cheeses, and beer and wine are pretty good. Unfortunately they are about 30 minutes away from us.

Do like to purchase organic foods but most of the time it is when they are on sale. Many organic foods tend to be lower in sodium. I like organic microwave popcorn. I also like organic  soup and fresh fruits and veggies when I can get them on sale   :rainbow: :rainbow: :rose:

When people say they can't afford I feel thats a lie. They just dont want to give up other things for it.  eating health is expensive but so is cancer a choice has to be made.  These people that eat all raw foods can afford it why can't others. www.therawfoodworld.com is the best place to find supply's to live a healthier.

I buy some organic foods at Publix for one thing catsup and cookies because I am determined to not use products with corn syrup or hfcs.  It is ridiculous that everything including hot dogs have corn syrup.  I only found one bbq sauce without it Webers and now it looks like Publix isn't going to carry it or its being discontinued.  And yes it is getting expensive - trying to buy organic precludes getting the bogo or sale items alot such as jams.
