I dont understand why people who are in a relationship are stuck on having a myspace and not being friends with their partner.  I think myspace users have gotten out of control and its a relationship ruiner

To me, myspace is just a bunch of gossip, just like facebook and the others.  I don't like them at all.

I use Facebook.  It's okay but it can become addictive once you have made a network of people and made friends with some.  True, you can probably have conversations with others then your partner but it's all about trust.  We all need an outlet of change to appreciate the normal ruitine in life. Right?  That's what I believe.

I met my (now ex) boyfriend on myspace. It seemed great and we had no problems as far as both of us having a page. We used it to keep in touch with friends and family we already knew but dont live nearby so we never had any problems with jealousy or anything but it definitely can cause a communication problem. We often sent each other messages (and texts too) for things that really should have been discussed face to face.

I have seen it cause cheating between couples but I think if they were going to do that, they probably would have found a way anyway. Myspace might have just made it easier to find.

i'm not sure i understand what you're trying to say here.

do you actually KNOW people who won't be "myspace friends" with their partner? what would be the point in NOT being friends with your significant other? lol.

WHAT???? My husband is my TOP #1 friend on Myspace. All my other friends, which I know personally, I don't add people I don't personally know. But Myspace has in no way shape or form ruined my husbands and I's relationship!!

i'm not sure if i completely understand what you're trying to say, but i think you mean someone not being friends with their partner ON myspace? i think that's kinda ridiculous...if you won't allow them as a friend, do you have something to hide? i would think so.
