When was the last time you used a cab as a form of transporation?

Taxis are so expensive now. I haven't taken one in 5 years. They tried to charge me $50 but I talked them down to $35. That was the last time I took a cab.

Love your questions Melody....Hmmmm, a cab ride (I don't think there is a cab in this county) seems a long time ago.  I guess it was the last time we flew to Las Vegas so that would be about 10 years ago.  We have driven there the last few times we went.  Every place else we have gone we either drove or had friends or relatives chauffeuring us around.  Bet it is expensive now!

About 3 wks ago.  I went from the airport in Phoenix downtown to the Hyatt Regency.  Cost me a bit over $20.00.

Probably about 4 years ago when I first went to Las Vegas. My feet were killing me from walking so much that I took a cab back from the casino I was at back to the hotel I was staying at. It cost like $30 for 2 miles!

Half the trips I have for business is involving a cab and they're always involved with a trip to and/or from the airport. They're a bit pricey, but I don't think I have my faith in Uber or similar companies just yet to switch to such alternatives.

A little over a year ago.  At the time a new cab company had started up in our town the other two had stinky filthy cars.  I tried the new one my son and I because we didn't have a car at the time.  The cab was brand new and so nice but the driver talked and acted and drove like he was drunk.  When we got to the bank I called the cab company and told the owner he had to send someone else that the guy had driven insanely and I thought he was intoxicated.  The owner came himself and shortly after I was able thank the Lord to buy a vehicle.

Don't remember... the train and bus transportation is right next to my place... TBH I don't like taxi drivers.. They drive reckless like the cops in my area, no turning lights, cut every light, tailgate, and cutting cars u name it even when there is no situation that calls for it

It has been many years since I used a cab, so far back in fact I don't remember how many years ago.  When I travel by plane after arriving at my destination I normally rent a car.
