When was the last time you used a cab as a form of transporation?

I've never been in a cab.  The only type of public transportation I've taken is at events, when they need to get you from the parking to the event.

I was coming hone in my new truck on 11/12/13  from an overtime shift  at Magic Kingdom in FL.
Some young, dumb drunk decided to take an illegal U turn on 192 slammin into my truck, totaling it out, of course she really didn't have insurance, and after the cops came, I took a cab home, didn't go to hosiptal  because I was really concerned about my truck at the time, and had the dogs at home waiting for me
I now have permanent injury from the event..but at least Mears cab co was there to help me out.
We use Mears at Disney, they are a participate company, most of them real nice drivers.   Oh yes, still paying on my truck, but I don't have it anymore..

A few years ago someone hit and totaled my car and my husband and I had to get to and from work by calling a cab. Luckily we worked at the same place and it was a short distance from our home.

I took a couple of cabs last summer before I figured out the bus system, which I did a few months before I was finally able to get a car. I do NOT miss public transportation, particularly the cab, which was always so expensive.

I had a recent situation wherein I was running late, A cab was right before me so it became my best option.
