« on: May 11, 2015, 06:31:14 am »
a waitress gave me sliced almonds when I asked for chopped walnuts.
she had to go back to the kitchen and make the correction.

I would have just eaten them anyway, they are both good and good for you.

I like both almonds and walnuts but if the entree was supposed to be almonds, like Chicken Almodine, I would want almonds.  On a salad, I think either nut would be fine.

I don't like either. Love cashews and peanuts, but don't care for almonds, walnuts, or pecans.

I love both almonds and walnuts. given a choice I would say I prefer almonds but I love all kind of nuts probably because I 'm a little nutty myself! :rainbow: :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

I love to snack on both walnuts and almonds but mostly I find myself snacking on almonds. I crush them very finely and add them to the honey and have that with tea or coffee....

I like them both.  However, I agree that if you are paying for a meal you should be given what you ordered.

I like almonds. I like them better than walnuts. Walnuts are a bit dry for me. I would have eaten the almonds, but then again I probably would have asked for almonds and not walnuts to start with. lol

I like both but Almonds are my favorite.  In a salad it does make a difference in taste all depending upon the type of salad.   :)

I love both, but if you asked for Almonds that is what you should have.  Sometimes on salads I will have both and the sunflower seeds.

Almonds are MUCH sweeter! Walnuts are always so bitter to me!
