I accept the hand life has dealt me and don't want to wish for anything I can't have. There are too many consequences I may not like if it were even possible.

I would have to choose youth. If I had that back, I would make some different life choices. I would never start smoking cigarettes in the first place, for instance, and I would go back to work when my kids were much younger than they actually were when I went back to work.

My first reaction is to say...my mother. But eventually I would have to go thru the pain of losing her again.  I will leave her where she is...in heaven, happy and at peace.

My deceased husband for sure.  He passed in January 2013 and I still miss him each and every day.  I just have to believe God has a plan for all of us and although I don't understand it I would sure love to have him back like you said even for just one day.

I'm not sure I could narrow this down to just one thing, but my first reaction is to have my high school days back, if I could use the experience that I've gathered through the years.  I would do many things differently.

My 8yr old son who passed away Jan 2015, I wish he was still here with us all. I would do anything to have him back and to watch him grow up.

If I had a choice, I would choose my youth - going back to my teen years and doing EVERYTHING entirely different!!!

Me, too, and with those people I would bring back my beloved animals.  Like you said, we know we can't do that, but I know they're really never far away - just behind the veil, and always in our hearts and souls.

The one thing I would bring back is my father who passed away in November 2007. He was diagnosed with cancer in his kidney at aged 28, he had his kidney removed and he then lived another 41 years before he finally gave in to cancer in his other kidney. I would have been about 5 years old had he died at that time, I'm so blessed that he got to live until aged 69 as it gave me the chance to spend some quality decades with him!
