Is Tom Brady GUILTY?
« on: May 13, 2015, 06:06:08 pm »
I am not here to judge Tom Brady, but I am still wondering why he is the only person getting punished for the deflated footballs. Who let the air out of the Footballs? I know that the officials handled the *bleep* and they never noticed anything. In my opinion Tom Brady was not the only person in the stadium when the air was taken out of the football, so who else should be held accountable. The equipment crew, the ball boys, the officials, someone had to know something. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

Well, that's sad news to hear. I have no opinion about this. Thanks for sharing.

Personally I don't really care, there are SO many more serious things to be concerned about. Besides, cheating has and will always happen in sports whether it's through the use of steroids, stealing signs, playing loud music at inopportune times for the opposing team or having players on a roster who are too old etc. The trick is not getting caught, Brady and the Patriots are BS artists in my opinion like most athletes and will do just about anything to protect their phoney bologna image. They should run for office in government!

I don't think all the guilt should fall on Tom Brady.

He is the most visible and more people will notice when he gets slammed. I'm sure it won't put a dent in his salary.

Not sure but somehow the phenomenon has spread to NASCAR where teams have been found somehow mysteriously bleeding off tire pressure . Maybe they can get a rousing chorus of "Who let the air out" at the next big event and finally get some answers.

I guess it was not serious enough to strip the Patriots of  the title or Brady of the MVP.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about? Is it actually that big of a deal? I am not an avid football fan so maybe I would be more worried if I was an actual fan.

Yes, I think Tom Brady is guilty, he knew about the inflated ball.

The verdict is in Tom Brady will be suspended 4 Games next season. The Patriots will not win the Super Bowl next year.

deflategate is getting carried away...is it cheating? in my opinion it is.... is it a world changing event? not on your life....there have been other sporting events in the past that had more impact and ramifications than this one... it does teach our youth the wrong ideas about sports, winning, etc but again there were other events that did it also...but it is only a small part of life and social events happening that have more impact... people need to regain perspective on things... just my opinion, so please don't rant at me  lol

It is a huge deal because you're talking about a sport that generates millions/billions, employs thousands, contributes greatly to the economy of the cities they play in, states they play in, commercial revenue, charities they contribute to,  it's big business.   One has to question the integrity of a game that isn't being played correctly.    If you lose the rules, the integrity, then it becomes a joke. There has to be rules, especially when there is so much money involved.

Do I personally care?  No.  I don't.  But I do see why it has to be a big deal, the integrity of the game is at stake.    Other than this question I give the whole situation little thought.   Tom Brady & his wife have so much money I don't think anything but his ego will be hurt.
