what is good for leg cramps

i have been using like gels for cramping but it doesn't seem to help any body got any ideas

If you mean bad leg cramps like a charlie horse, I've had them bad since a kid.  It wasn't until a few years ago, someone told me to put a piece of bar soap at the foot of the bed.  I kept losing it when I needed it though.

So I keep a piece of bar soap on the nightstand and when I get a charlie horse, I just toss it in my house sock, on top my foot.  It stops it quick.

If you are talking about a Charlie Horse, which is pretty painful, just apply pressure to the leg you are having pain in and it will go away right away. For example, if it is in your right leg or foot, just stand on that leg immediately and it
will go away. A doctor told me this trick years ago and it really works.

A cousin's husband told mom about the soap.  He told her she would think he was crazy but swore it worked.  lol.  Idk if she ever tried it or not.  I know the tonic water seemed to help.  But she had to force herself to drink it.  And mix with juice or something cause it not a good tasting thing.

drink more water to prevent cramping. I try to massage the area to relieve the pain.

I drink more water and massage during the night with mint ointment.

More water and like someone else said........banana - lots of potassium.   Yogurt and leafy greens also have potassium. I'd search online for natural remedies for leg cramps.

   Lift up your legs. Place your legs on a chair or similar places and let them rest.

I find eating bananas for the potassium helps. If I don't have any, I keep potassium pills on have for the same purpose
