I  talk for 8 hours a day at work so I do not talk much during the weekend, but I do sometimes on the weekends. I prefer to text unless it is important.

I like to talk more. I usually don't like to write anything unless I have too :)

Completely depends on the situation....short stuff, text, long stuff, talk.

For short conversations, texting is good. However long conversations I rather do talking... Don't want to see walls and walls of texts

I had to talk on the phone for so many years when I was working that I don't like to talk on the phone very much now.  I don't really care for texting, either.  I do IM on the computer with friends and family.

I prefer talking in person as opposed to talking on the phone or texting.  To me it is friendlier and I can then be sure that what I say will not be misunderstood.

It depends on what kind of communication is necessary as to which I prefer, calling or texting.

Quick texts just to remind the kids of something are great.  Or even to share a quick picture.  Texting has become very much a part of my daily communication.

Calls are best when it is a conversation.

Depends on the person but I like texting. Most of my friends have little kids and texting seems to be an easy way to keep in touch without being intrusive. I'm always afraid I'm going to wake their kids up or something if I call.

I am not much of a phone talker to begin.  For years I spent my days at work on the phone so never got into the habit of talking on the phone for very long for personal stuff.  I only use a cell phone for emergencies (we have no cell coverage where I live and it is spotty at best in the county.) Have only, believe it or not, texted twice in my life.  Pretty low tech life I lead.
