Addicted to a tv show
« on: June 14, 2015, 01:09:26 pm »
What television show are you addicted to? I don't watch a lot of tv in general but one of my addictions is My 600 lb Life.  I feel really bad for the people on there, but sometimes it really bothers me to see them whining about how hard things are instead of doing the work it takes to lose the weight.  I know I'm bigger than I should be, but would jump at the chance for a free weight loss surgery and a chance to get help getting healthy!

iwas addicted to Breaking Bad loved it and also The walking Dead you can get addicted easily espe cially when other folks friends or family also love the shows. I like Netflix cause you can watch shows from the beginning like i'm watching Madmen good but not addicted to that one.

I totally agree with you on the addiction of shows. My problem is I'm addicted to so many of them. This evening for instance, there is The Bachelorette. Later in the week I have to see So You Think You Can Dance. I do my best to see them live as they are airing, but if push comes to shove, I will watch it on DVR. Can you imagine how annoyed I get when there is a power outage during recording, especially during a finale! When that happens, I turn ugly!

Right now Pretty Little Liars, The Originals, and Supernatural. I was very addicted to The Vampire Diaries there for a long time.

My favorite TV show is "If Loving You Is Wrong" on OWN network.  The show is off for the season.  I can't wait until the new season returns, anxiously looking forward to it.   :)

I think "addicted" is the wrong word and a word that is way over used.  Kind of like other words these days. lol.  There are shows that people can like to watch and make every effort to watch it every week but that does not mean they are "addicted" to the show.  I also watch a lot of DVDs and have several series and usually put a DVD in and watch the entire DVD before I take it out.  But I am not addicted to the show.  I just like to watch it.  Just my opinion here. : )

I can get addicted to tv shows especially reality shows like the Housewives of_____(any of them really).

For this reason alone, I watch very little tv and only record shows I really, really want to watch when it's convenient for me.
