I go thru the sales ads for the stores I shop at ..make my list and then cut out the coupons that come in the mail and search online for coupons.  nothing better than something on sale and with a coupon to boot.

I throw them all in the trash.  After all, you can see what's on sale in the store AT THE STORE!!!!!!!

I look at the grocery ones that come in the mail on Tuesdays & see what stores are having sales on my staples.   I buy a lot of avocados, so at one market I don't normally shop at sells them 5 for $1 sometimes, so I look for that sale & then make a trip to stock up.

I sometimes look them over.  But for my grocery shopping I go online to the weekly ads from my store.  From there I can create my shopping list and clip coupons.

I agree, I read them also as I have different places I shop; so I see which may give me the best deals or have things on sale that I need; I find them useful; can then combine with my coupons so makes the deals ever better!!!

I read then recycle the paper. It's always good to know what's on sale...especially in the sunday ads.

I look at our local grocery store ads...just in case there's something on sale that I want.  Then it goes into the recycling bin.

I check out the ads of the local stores I frequent to see whats on sale.  I will match up any coupons I can.  I still like getting the ads on paper (I know they are all online)  but somehow it is easier to find things.  I still love the stores that send me catalogs,  I can just browse thru and something catches my interest(I know I have bought a lot more stuff I haven't intended to due to paper in my hand), so hard to do that online.  When you know what you need it doesn't matter.

I look at all the grocery and dollar store ads. i circle what I would like to buy and the next day, i'll make up a list of what I can AFFORD to buy, if anything. The flyers are sort of a wish list for me.

One of the local stores have an online ad that also has monthly sales, not just weekly. It's a separate section and not in the flyers that come to the door. I'll look through that and make a list of what I would like from those ads and print out the list. Thankfully, the store circulars, including this store, allow you to click on a product and it adds to a list that you can print. Then when I have the money and usually a coupon for each product, I'll go to the store.

Usually the best sales are at the beginning of the month. It was a ritual that started back when all senior citizens received their Social Security checks on the 3rd of the month. As the month goins by, the sales are less and less in products most people want to buy. I try to go the second week of the month if I can.
