Tell them to stop! Then administer appropriate punishment if they do not comply.

Taking away television and video games, etc. is a good start.

You can also try reading a story that conveys the benefits of having an ally that's got your back, especially family.  :highfive:

Some times it can get on your nerves but they will grow out of it.

When my brother and I used to argue as children, my mother would put us in separate rooms until we "settled down."  After that we were so desperate to have each other to play with, the fight disappeared.

I am a mother of 4 boys. What worked with my boys were to make them sit in a room apart (cant touch each other) and they had to talk to work out problem. They hated it and made them behave . Of course they had to work it out and apologize , hug or shake hands. Now girls not sure it would work.

I have 2 grandkids who fight a lot. They get along for awhile, then start going at it again. I try to have different things each of them are interested in to get their attention off each other. Its been so hot lately that we've had heat advisories, so in the evenings I make them go outside to play.

I make my 4 year old grand daughter go to bed when she acts up, she doesn't like that so it has been less and less that she acts out now.

I grew up with brothers younger than me. So, no fights between us.

Do they see their parents fighting? Maybe they're acting out what they see from someone. The parents need to handle this.

Sorry :( I use "nose to nose" with my kids if they are having a hard time with each other (make them stand touching noses). It doesn't take long before they are laughing and ready to play with each other again. They don't fight often though.
