my grand daughter has one and what is strange she describes him as my uncle there are things she says that only he used to say my daughter asked me about him and she says that she feels it is my uncle protecting her i guess anything is possible have you ever been threw something like this

Growing up as a child with only one sibling 16 years older, I definitely had an imaginary friend.  I probably had them for about 4-5 years.  In fact, they were named Peggy and Susie.  Still remember playing with them and talking back and forth during the play.  I often assumed each one's personality and would ask questions and respond how I thought they would.

I didn't have an imaginary friend per se, although I often talked with myself. For example, I'd sometimes pretend that I was baseball announcers when I'd throw a ball against a board (for fielding practice). I did name all of my stuffed animals, and would animate them while I played, but again they were not exactly what I'd call an imaginary friend...

Neil Diamond wrote a song called Shilho.It was about an imaginery friend that was always there for him when he was a child.Its sad when the part of the song comes Shilho has to go but Neil would understand.
