I live way out in the country. Neighbors are pretty far apart and we don't all know each other but are familiar with each other. I was a "city girl" all my life until I moved here 7 years ago, and its been quite a change! What's your neighborhood like?

I live in a small city. It is not really suburbia, but not in the downtown area either. I am glad it is not a big city. I have lived in suburban areas of larger cities before. I prefer the smaller ones if I have to live in the city. I prefer rural countryside. BMaston12

I live in a suburban area.  Houses are fairly close together, but it's a fairly quiet neighborhood.  A supermarket, bank, variety store, and some others are within a few blocks so I can walk there when the weather's nice.

I live in a small town that has gotten even smaller as people move out to find jobs. It is depressing to see how small it is anymore. But  I chose to live here to help take care of my dad. But I did want to get away from the border town where we lived. It is now listed as the most dangerous town in the state. And it is all because of Obama opening the borders and curtailing  border patrol.  But getting back to the neighborhood. We have a fairly quit one. Our neighbors are all nice. And no it is not an all white neighborhood but a mixed one. Neighbors to the right are black and real nice  down the street are latinos and a lot of whites too.  Race baiting has not hit her yet.

I just moved so it's a pretty quiet neighborhood. I barely see kids playing outside. even though i know that there are kids in the neighborhood.

Not bad in general! To be expected for low rental!

I think my neighborhoods are illegal immigrants and they are kind of OK, but sometimes they are very noisy.

Well, how would I explain this one. I live in a city, one of the outer boroughs. The people here are like clannish. They will not associate with anyone that is normal. And I hate it here because of that. This neighborhood has changed too much for my taste.

I like my neighborhood. It is in the suburbs. My neighbors are very nice and friendly and I feel safe here which is the main thing to me.

I live in the suburbs, outside of a major metropolitan area.  We have lived in this area for over thirty years.  I am blessed to live here.

Our neighborhood is a great place for families and children.  Our neighbors are just wonderful.

Suburban. I may want to live in the city but I really want a garden so I can't decide.

Why would you even feel the need to bring up race?  Just curious?
