sounds like an annual event at this point. There hasn't been a year in my recent life where i haven heard Iran and nuclear in the same sentence.

I'm very concerned. Iran is controlled by fanatics who want to bring on the apocalypse.

When Iran has a plank in their constitution to eliminate Israel, when Iran is the largest state sponsor of terrorism, and when some of the Middle East neighbors (besides Israel) is scared of a wealthy and militarily strong Iran, these are all indicators of how awful this agreement is.

The president claims that this deal will be based on verification via 24-hour access by inspectors to their nuclear facilities, yet from what I've been hearing, this "verification" isn't nearly as strong as it needs to be... The inspectors first need to request Iran for an inspection. Iran then has 14 days to debate whether to allow the inspection. If Iran refuses the inspection, it then goes to the UN security council to determine whether the inspectors can go. And if Iran still refuses, it would take another round in the UN to "snap" back the sanctions (if the UN even decides to put them back in place). And during this entire time, if Iran decides to allow the inspectors afterall, the reinstating of the sanctions falls off the table. Thus Iran would have at least a good month after being given a request for inspections during which they could move and/or hide any evidence that the inspections were trying to obtain.

Finally the deal will not only lift the sanctions on conventional (non-nuclear) weapons but will also provide a large lump sum of money to Iran, which they can then use to purchase those weapons (probably from Russia, which is why they are all in favor of the plan). When you also consider the amount of money and resources that Iran supplies to terrorist groups, this deal is just going to increase terrorist activities.

I do not believe a word that comes out of Iran's mouthpiece. I  really can't believe any thing Obama says any more about this and I am afraid things are really going down hill in a hurry.

Just sounds like a bad idea. Can we really trust what they say? I don't think so. But not much the public can do about that decision. We can only pray our country stays strong. BMaston12
