doughnut hole on medicare part D

Has anyone else hit their doughnut hole. I am in it now and don't know how I am going to afford my medicene

On the medicare part d when you have reached the limit and you have to start paying all or most of the cost for medicene out of pocket

Ask your doctor and pharmacist about assistance programs through the pharmaceutical company which manufactures your medicine.

If you qualify real low income which is like 750 a month or below you can get insulin free from Lilly.

 :) My Mother-in-Law had the same problem. Maybe your Doctor would have some "FREE" samples to get you by. :)

I am not on medicare but i can not afford my pills,so i order them from Canada all the time.

My mom is having that problem, so I am working with her doctors, and looking to see if she qualifies for an assistance programs from the maker of her medications, one doctor said something about a site that offered coupons but forgot the name of the site. Check with your doctor and the pharmacy. Good luck.

I'm scared of hitting this but I just qualified for immediate care assistance. Hopefully in 5 months I won't meet my out of pocket costs.
