We love just going down the shore for a quick vacation but where had everyone else been this year?

I haven't been anywhere this year yet.  But I am planning a casino trip to Louisiana in October.

We went to an all-inclusive resort in Negril, Jamaica. It was so beautiful and fun - hot and humid, too, but who cares when you have the pool and beach right there?

I went to Orlando earlier this year and will be going again in a few months.  Counting down the days.

I went to see a historic fort in a state park. It was only a day trip, but my dog and I loved getting away from the city. I am going to the Grand Canyon in Sept. Until then, I will be taking short trips. Maybe the lake next time. BMaston12

We are planning a vacation in Myrtle Beach,SC in september.  We like to go when it starts cooling off and the summer crowds are gone.

we didn't get the chance this year as my husband was in the hospital and used all but a week of his vacation and then his grandmother passed away and he took the last week of vacation to help out with cleaning up her house and the funeral arrangements.

One of my sisters, her grandson and myself went to S.C. for a week earlier this month to visit our relatives there.  It was a great vacation; we stayed on the go every day so when we all got back home we were really worn out.  Guess that proves it really was a great vacation! lol

A vacation to somewhere else would be great. Being laid off from my job has been sort of a vacay-for 10 years I really didn't take very many days off.
