i have an electric stove, but once had a gas. the gas stove cooked a little better on homemade tomato sauce and some others but the electric is more convenient

I have a gas stove. I don't think I've ever had electric. I couldn't deal with that.

I have an electric stove. It is a black flat panel stove. There are some things I like and some things I don't like. I like the fact that it is so much easier to clean.

I like vickysue's idea of having one of each.  My electric stove needs to be replaced and I'm having a hard time deciding what to get.  I cook on a gas stove at our river home and I feel like it's way harder to adjust than my electric stove, but the oven cooks so much better!!!  I would like to combine the the best parts of both, please!

I have a gas stove. I have cooked on an electric stove and much prefer the gas. Heats faster and better control.
Now the oven- thats a different animal. I have a gas oven and I prefer the electric.

My dream kitchen would have a gas range and dual wall electric ovens. If you are going to dream, dream big!

I have a gas stove/oven.   I LOVE it because it has such a "homey" feel when using it but....I only use it in the winter time.  (My personal preference.)  I have a single electric burner, slow cookers, and a Nu Wave oven that I use during Spring/Summer months.)  I don't cook that much & bake even less in Spring/Summer months, so I'd have no use for an electric stove.

I have had both, but where I live now the only gas choice is propane. I do use the propane in my RV, but it doesn't burn as high as natural gas. I always hated the way electric stoves stay hot for awhile. It bothered me with little kids around. I would say they both have pluses and negatives.

We have a electric stove and everything electric as well, like water heater and dryer and such, but not heat.

we have had both we used to have an electric when we lived at my old house but since we moved into our new house we have gas and my husband is way happier.  me too because i hated how the top would constantly be getting scratched and since i can veg and fruits at the end of the year it makes it so much easier to do without having to worry that the glass top will shatter.

Electric is good but it takes way to long for it to cool down compared to gas. So i prefer a gas stove

I prefer our electric stove. I think they're easier and won't blow up!
