In our part of the country we will be having more snow and the mountains will have a lot. And we need it our state has been so dry until we started with a small amount last year and now we are over 20" since the end of April. Hopefull we are pulling out of the draught we were in for almost 10 years. It has been nice and we have not had so many triple digits this year. I think only 3 this summer. But it is really humid at times and hard to breath.

It is also supposed to mean more rain. We really need that in central California. My back yard looks like death valley. I can't wait to have green grass again. One benefit of not watering my lawn, I haven't mowed it all summer either.

I hope this El Nino really does its thing. We are s dry in California it is affecting our ranchers and farmers who produce a lot of food for the entire country. We need the El Nino for several years to make a big difference.

I heard the same, but I also read something saying we can expect a ton of snow (East Coast)! I lean toward the El Nino option...

I think I saw that we would have a lot of snow here but that isn't too bad as it's the really really cold weather below 10 degrees that I don't like.
