I tried this offer and could not get credit either.I have tries everything possible to get it to credit with no luck.
Obviously you have NOT tried everything possible, because there are too many of us that DID get it. I can't tell you what you are doing wrong, but I can tell you it does work.
Obviously, it DOESN'T work for everyone oldbuddy. I've tried 3-4 times and still get the same answer:
"We could not validate your email address. Please try another email address."
I DO NOT have another email address and I've been using this address since I joined Comcast. This is a load of BULL. It's not the first time I've gotten this answer from the same style email grabber sites and I think that's what it is....let me know if you guys that succeeded are getting lots of extra emails (Spam) now. Comcast does have a Spam blocker and evidently that's why my email can't be validated.
I didn't say anything about it being obvious it doesn't work for everyone, just that it DOES work for enough people, that it should be obvious that it's not the offer that has the problem.
Seems pretty simple to try getting a new fresh Gmail account for free and use that. I completed the Pennzoil offer and didn't notice any more email activity than usual, but then Gmail does a superb job of filtering it anyway, so I probably wouldn't notice.
It's not any more a load of BULL than any of the other offers that don't work for some people here and it's certainly not the first time I have heard of someone having problems with Comcast email.
If you are not willing to make the necessary adjustments on your end to get this to work, maybe you should just forget it and keep doing what does work for you.
