I'm a single income household and I make very close to that. Just because I make "more" money does not mean I don't want to earn even MORE... I have a child that will hopefully be going to college in the next 8 years, bills to pay, retirement to save for...

So are you admitting you lie on the surveys about your income? :D

Why would you jump to that conclusion?  Wow!  The answer is that I am honest and aboveboard in all my responses.  Just asking why someone would be spending time doing this when they have income over $50,000.  So do YOU lie on surveys?

For all of you who say you make $50,000 or close to it, you are better men/women than me.  The last six years I worked I made $50-53,000 and had hours between 40-44 per week.  The last thing I wanted to do in my free time was get on a survey site and sit for hours making pennies.  Even now, after making that type of money, I cringe some days at having to do this.  But for those of you with the attitude and aptitude for it with that income, more power to ya!!!

In my household, we make over $50k a year, but most of that comes in from my wife.  I work steady hours, but my pay is sporadic and comes in very irregularly.  I have the potential to get a big pay day now and then and have some priodic smaller pay days, but in the meanwhile, I contribute in a small way with my online earnings.  It is small, but steady income that I bring in doing surveys and using smartphone apps.

I know that it wasn't the intention of the OP, but to assume that anyone making over $50k is on easy street and has no need for extra income is pretty short sighted.  There have been some times where my online income was used to fund a weekend getaway or a nice gift for my wife or kids.  And there have been other times where my online income put food on the table and kept the lights from getting shut off.

I recently commented in another thread that I would go out of my way to pick up a penny on the sidewalk.  I don't think that would change if I was unemployed OR making six figures.  A penny on the street is as goos as a penny in my pocket, and a $2.00 survey is worth adding $2.00 to my pocket (provided it is not two hours long!)

:) Yes, I make more than $50,000 a year but I do FC strictly for fun and playing on the computer. If I cash out 4 times a year, I am happy. :)

Our combined income is a little over $50,000 but I still try to make any extra that I can wherever I can!
Have a wonderful day!
