Very interesting, I just roll it on the table and it peels very easy for me :), did you know you don't have to have the gas electric on the whole time boiling?...when it starts to boil put a lid on it for 10 minutes with the gas/electric off and after 10 min you have a good boiled egg and save on gas as well :)

I came across a new way to make peeling hard boiled eggs faster and easier.Put a slice of lemon in with the eggs before you boil them.Do like you always do with the eggs. And you will be surprised how it works.
What a great trick. I really don't like it when the shells peel off half o f the egg. Nice to know. I will try that one next time. BMaston12

I have did the lemon slices in the boiling water you can taste it in the eggs. I put a flavored tea bags in the boiling water. I put a lot of salt in the boiling water and you don't have to salt the eggs.  And...don't throw away the water give the water to the plants after the water cools lol, makes for a good foot bath too.  enjoy  :cat:

This sounds interesting.  There are so many ways that people say will help peel a boiled egg.  I am willing to try anything that will help.

I saw an infomercial on doing the same thing, thereby helping to remove the shell easier.

:) Thanks for sharing. I'll be sure to fill my mom in as well. She makes deviled eggs (she's Christian so she calls them angel eggs haha) all the time.

I don't have a problem peeling hard boiled eggs.  Bring them to a boil.  Shut off the heat and leave covered for twenty minutes.  Pour out hot water and rinse in cold water so you can handle them.  Plunge them into cold water and put them in the fridge to cool.  Then just peel away.  Works for me.
No lemons were harmed in the making of this recipe.
