Do you or someone else color your hair?

No not any more - my original natural hair color was auburn (brownish red) when I started getting gray I tried coloring but it got to be too much so I just let it go natural which is a blend of gray, blond and even still has some reddish hairs even though I am 62.  I get a lot of compliments on my hair which is down below my behind.

i'm 59 and have never colored my hair.  My parents,,  both  of them  had  beautiful White hair  in their later years and so do I,,,  and i'm not about to ruin it.  I'm proud of my white hair and I earned every one of them.

PS :   my hair is white not gray !!!!!   

I started coloring my own hair when I was a teenager. Later on when I could afford it, I'd have it done professionally. I think it kind of depends on the color you want.

Anyway, you're fortunate to have white hair dancer139.  I would welcome it myself. My dad had dark hair and it turned a beautiful white also.

However, mine looks sort of mousy if I don't do something to it. I don't really like being a slave to my hair like that, but so far I'm a little too vain to go without. Perhaps in the future I will have more grace to accept my natural hair color.

Someone else colors my hair, I usually go to the local beauty school as its's very cost effective since they are students; but I have never had a problem they do a nice job.

My sister-in-law and niece are in the hair business, so I have mine professionally colored and cut.

I used to have brown hair, but mother nature colored it gray for me and it was absolutely free with no time spent and no hassle at all. After watching what my wife goes through to color hers, I want no part of that stink and mess.

I color my hair at home all by myself every couple of months. I enjoy doing it. A hairdresser might do a slightly better job, but not enough better to justify the cost in my opinion.

Yes! Of course I color my hair. Have to do something to cover up the gray!

when i was younger i tried dying my hair but no one else does it for me, because i dont die my hair nowadays

I had a roommate in college help my dye my hair once. It looked nice, but I've never bothered doing it (or having it done) since.

I had gray start showing up when I was 28 years old so I have been coloring my hair for a long time.  I just don't want to stop and have a head full of gray hair.

I get it done professionally to be sure that it is correct and all the gray is covered.
