My Mom is 105 Today!!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Momma who will be 105 years young today!  It's unbelievable the changes she has seen in her life.  Her daddy was a barber in Nashville, TN, and his biggest trade was men stopping for a shave on their way to work.  They would park their horses out front!!! She remembers getting her first light bulb that hung from a wire in the ceiling. You had to unscrew it to turn it off.  My mom now lives in an assisted living residence and we have a big celebration planned!

Wow, 105, that's pretty awesome :) I can't even begin to imagine all of the changes and different things she has seen in her lifetime.

That is so awesome.  Happy Birthday to your Mom.  My Grandma turned 94 years  young yesterday.

I met a lady who lived to be 104.
 She was remarkable.
She used a scooter for a while.
Then, she used a walker.
She rebounded from illnesses a number of times.

It is amazing they things they can remember and I love to sit with older people and listen to them remember things from their past,,,  it is fantastic.  May she live to tell many more stories  <3 <3
