Sometimes when it's getting late and I don't know what to have for dinner, I use jarred sauce and make spaghetti. My husband will like that any time!  I try to buy sauce without added sugar, though, and use whole wheat spaghetti, or one made with vegetables. You don't need meat for every dinner - better to cut back anyway.  I also serve cut up fruit and a nice salad before having the spaghetti. And if I have some leftover Italian bread in the freezer, I will make garlic bread.

yuk, no jarred stuff for me please - love to make my own sauce and large meatballs and best when italian sausage is also on the side - then it's complete for me!

We always make our sauce with meat.
Never tried it without meat.

Always add meat, ground and I also make meatballs.  I add garlic, green peppers, onion, and mushrooms.
