I haven't been able to keep up with the election. Can someone please give me a quick rundown of what all has been going on?

Polls are now showing Carly Fiorina as a front runner with Trump close behind. But the polls change all the time. Jeb Bush is not making a good show of it. Marco Rubio is doing okay. I like him. Ben Carson, the pediatric neurosurgeon, is falling a little since the debates because he's so soft spoken. Ben and Donald Trump are buddies.Ted Cruz and Rand Paul don't seem to be doing as well now, but they are great constiutionalists. Kasich is from Ohio but he doesn't make a good showing in my opinion. Blah. Bobby Jindal and Mike Huckabee are still in the running and I like them too. They talk a pretty good game. Walker and Christie are kind of struggling as well. Rick Perry dropped out due to lack of funds and poor showing. I don't know much about Rick Santorum, Jim Gilmore, or Lindsey Graham. There are way too many Republican candidates.

I can't believe you asked this question at all and I can't believe I'm attempting to answer. But since you're showing interest, I'll do the best I can.  Where have you been? Under a rock? Just kidding.  ;)

As far as the democrats go, Hillary Clinton is a big liar although she has her followers. I don't think she has much of a chance of being elected because she's entrenched in so many scandals that, thank God, she may now have to answer for. She may become the nominee but I don't think she can win the election. Bernie Sanders is admittedly a Socialist. Seriously?  :turkey: Joe Biden hasn't officially announced, but he may.  :turkey: Other democratic candidates are Martin O'Malley, Lincoln Chafee, Lawrence Lessig, Jim Webb and I know nothing about those guys at all at this point.

The third party candidate is Jill Stein and I know less than nothing about her, but I'd like to. I think I'll have to check on that.

Hope that helps, newbie. Be involved and help make our country great again. Vote!  :highfive:

Scott Walker quit today so there is one less Republican out there.  I really liked him in the beginning but he wasn't very effective in the 2 debates and he kept changing his opinions which isn't a good thing.  The Democrats don't have much out there but will probably win because the media is on their side.  It's a shame since Hillary Clinton sold out our country for her own benefit and Sanders is a Socialist.

I haven't seen much either. I've been busy with work. On the Today show they had a quick recaps of what was going on. You might be able to see that again.

Ben Carson is saying abortion is like slavery ,he doesn't believe in Darwin evolution and is against same sex marriage but he is on top of the latest polls.
