Have you ever got a survey that 4 times it asked about your work
« on: September 24, 2015, 07:38:11 am »
The very first ? you answer. retired. then they ask do you work in these areas and you answer I don't work. (of course retired folks do a lot more work but its not a paid corp thing.) So 3. they ask you what you Itt position is and your only choice is either you work or none of the above. Then they ask you how many employees you have and there is on 0. there is no no work, retired option so you have to x out. IS this survery wanting you to lie. and is that OK with them. Would they rather you say something they want you to or just click out after 5 minutes not even getting one cent for your effort. :sad1:

Get surveys like that all the time.  Some of them are VERY repetitive.  I wish they'd just get to the point.  It's frustrating to answer the same qualifying questions over and over on one survey only to have them dump you in the end.

This is actually part of the survey process for some panels.  At times the survey taker is told from the start that there may be some questions that are repetitive.

Survey companies want to know that you are a real person who is taking their time and reading all of the questions before answering.

For instance, in your case, if you were to answer that you are retired for question one then in question two, you say that you work in the marketing department; that discrepancy would pretty much disqualify you.

Companies really have to know that you are serious about the time you put into a survey and that you are really reading the questions well.

I've gotten several surveys like that some of them do pay off because if you qualify for one do good on it that same survey company may drop another one your way that maybe a higher dollar amount survey

Yes it's frustrating.   I also love it when they ask your age, zipcode, income and sex 4 or 5 times,UGG!

All true...but pay me more than 30 cents or so.
