For the  safety of the kids nowadays trick or treating should be banned.  Instead people should have little parties with people they know.  It's funny how you still don't know the word AND, wait not funny, pathetic :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad:

I don't do anything.  There are not hardly any kids anymore that trick or treat so don't bother with it.  I think there are so many organized events (seems like all the churches do something.

Every year my family and I have been lagging it, hopefully we could spend a good day together watching scary movies and playing games.

When I was a kid I loved Halloween and going out trick or treating.  But now Halloween is just another day.  I don't celebrate it.  I live in the country so I don't decorate and I never get any trick or treaters.  Also, I'm single so I don't have any kids or grandchildren to take trick or treating either.  Since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, I'll be at home watching college football in the evening.

Unfortunately, I have to work Halloween this year.
At my college though, I am involved in the Deaf/Hearing Social Club and we will be having a bake sale and Halloween Carnival the Thursday before. I will be dressing up there as Abaddon from Supernatural!
I don't think many people will get it, but I don't care, I'm excited!

Well I don't see us doing anything this year for Halloween, maybe just sit at home and watch hocus pocus that's been a tradition that i have enjoyed.

My husband and I usually stay home and sit out on the front porch to watch for the little ones coming by. We try to buy those big candy bars you can still get at Costco and we let the kids pick which one they want. We don't get very many kids, though, because we live on a cul-de-sac which is not very efficient for trick-or-treaters to use.
