The illegal selling of guns is always going to be a major factor no matter how hard they try to stop it it's going to continue to happen cause there won't be a way to stop people from selling them illegally cause there going to keep finding ways to avoid from getting caught

I am a firm believer in the right to bear arms. But why does it have to be an AK47? My husband says it's because they military has it. Well the military isn't allowed to take the guns home with them. They have access to tanks and bombs.. does that mean we should as well? For the gun fanatics out there who like to collect guns. .why do they need ammo if it's meant to be propped behind a display case? I think that we as adults need to be more responsible. If you are a gun owner you should be weary of the people in your family, who has access to your gun and who knows about it. In almost all these mass shootings, the gun has come from someone in the shooters family. Does the world really need to know that you own a gun? Does everyone in your family need to know that you have a gun in your house? If you have family memembers with mental illness or someone with a history of violence.. should you maybe reconsider owning a gun? We need to put the responsibility on ourselves. We play a huge part in most of these shootings because we as a whole were not responsible enough. It goes further than just gun control, we need to make sure everyone with a mental illness is getting the propper treatment and staying on the treatment course. We need to look out for our fellow neighbors. Make it harder to obtain a gun so those who really feel the ridiclous waiting period or or the pychological tested are worth having the gun. Make it o that when your purchase a gun, theres's a waiting period and then there's another waiting period before you are cleared to purchase bullets for the gun. Anyone looking to purchase a gun and ammo immediately is in some sort of trouble or up to no good. Who knows.. it could save a life or two. We need to find a way to make guns harder to obtain while allowing those who wish to bear arms exercise their right to do so.

People are always going to be crazy with or without guns, the law wouldn't protect these low lifes from getting a gun...

I think a great first step in this discussion is to stop referring to the mentally ill as "Crazies"! Just a suggestion.

Well the reason for citizens to own AK-47s and AR-15s is to defend themselves from a tyrannical government.  When our founding fathers wrote the 2nd Amendment...they didn't do it because the deer were coming.

Hello to everyone out there in Fusion Cash world:

I, personally, think that Congress needs to pass a bill into the Senate and that new laws need to be passed into our legislature concerning "gun control"

For instance,   1.  There needs to be a age limit set up along with identification required before anyone who is not 21 years or older purchases a gun and or guns.

2.  A background check should also be required on the applicants who are  or want to purchase guns.

3.  Those who have criminal backgrounds involving violence of any kind should not be given guns!

4.   And, in addition, to all this     ones who purchase guns should be required to take a gun safety class and receive a certificate from a gun expert that would have a Washington seal on the certificate to make sure that it is legal before being allowed to purchase any guns!

5.   And, of course, a safety gun control phone number could be implemented to allow the public to call for assistance if they suspect any illegal activities going on with these laws that would be passed into congress!

These are my suggestions that I wuld give to Congress concerning gun control!
