cats or dogs
« on: October 08, 2015, 08:35:25 am »
cats are cute.
dogs are too.
cats purr softly.
dogs are over protective and noisy.
a dog needs more training to behave properly.
I have seen an angry cat, but not as much as a vicious dog.
just saying.

I like both cats and dogs they are my buddies.  Have you ever seen a smart cat or dog before?  Gots to treat them with respect :cat: and  :dog::heart:

I love them both, although I will agree with you that dogs need to be trained.  It's not hard, but it does have to be consistent.  It may be a lot harder if you get an animal that was abused.  Dogs aren't naturally vicious.  It's a behavior taught by stupid humans, or learned through abuse.

Both.  I've had both, at the same time, but only have cats right now   :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat:  They have their downside too.  They can claw the furniture and are harder to train, more independent.  I miss having a dog, but my cats are the cuddly type, even the aloof one wants to be close and touching, on his own terms.

I much prefer cats because you don't have to walk cats and you don't have to give cats a bath.  Cats also will curl up in your lap.

I have both, I love my  :dog: dogs, but I also love my  :cat: cats.  I think they both have good and bad points, but I wouldn't give them up for the world.

I love them both. I have 5 dogs, 4 cats and a very old horse. But if I had to have 1 pet I would say a dog, mainly because I always like having a guard dog around.

for me it's not a "or" issue.  I have both.  Each one has it's own pluses and minuses.  But love both cats and dogs.

I've always loved both since I was a year old.  After my last dog passed away 2 years ago, I just have the cats.  With the job I have now, it wouldn't be fair to the dog if I got one.....they need walking & to go outside, which I couldn't do since I work 10-12 hours a day.  Cats are easier.

I love both dogs and cats, but I happen to be more of a cat person. They are just more independent and sometimes that means a lot when you're super busy. I tend to be a hit and run feeder, on scheduled times, so I feed them then I'm out the door again. Being a student is a bit tough. Study groups, exam dates, job hunting, there's no time to really give to a dog, and I just cannot live with myself if I wasn't playing with my pets. Dogs are one of those where I need to give all my attention to, where as with my cats it's more on when they want my attention they'll come to me.

Or maybe that's just how they're personalities are!
